NinjaTrader's Social Media team builds our brand's voice and community across every channel. As Social Media Manager, NT Tech, you'll own and grow NinjaTrader Tech's social presence, with a focus on our Prop business, one of our fastest-growing segments, which gives funded traders the capital and tools they need to scale. This is a senior individual contributor role: you'll own strategy and deliver measurable results, working day-to-day with the Social Media team and reporting to the Sr. Manager, Content Marketing.

• Own the strategy for NinjaTrader Prop and Ecosystem business accounts across X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook, ideating, creating, and publishing content
• Manage the Prop social content roadmap and calendar from concept to publishing
• Develop and maintain a strong, social-first, company-approved brand voice and visual identity that stays consistent across all channels, adapting content natively for each platform
• Monitor platform algorithm changes, trending formats, and emerging channels to maximize reach and engagement
• Design your own social assets, work with the creative team and other designers to request additional assets and ensure cohesive visual identity across platforms, and oversee

copywriting, caption development, and asset coordination for campaigns and product launches

• Manage relationships with influencers, creators, and agency partners on post scheduling and asset sharing across our channels
• Support our Video Producer on Prop business projects by repurposing long-form video into short-form clips for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts, and writing captions, subtitles, and on-screen text
• Own community management across all NinjaTrader brand accounts by setting community guidelines, response standards, and escalation paths, directing day-to-day responses to comments, DMs, mentions, and tags, cultivating an engaged and loyal trading community, and monitoring brand mentions and sentiment to flag emerging issues
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with content, product, and growth teams, driving alignment without formal authority, and represent the social media function in cross-functional forums while advising other business units and building relationships with Manager- and Director-level stakeholders
• Track and analyze performance across channels, turning insights into data-driven recommendations and business cases that shape content strategy and influence resourcing and budget decisions, and design and document the processes that ensure all published content meets regulatory and brand standards

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience) and 6+ years of related experience (or 4+ years with a

master's degree) in social media, content creation, or digital marketing (agency or in-house)

• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a major social or content program, including setting strategy, managing the roadmap, and delivering measurable results, with a proven track record growing social for a financial brand, media company, or creator
• Deep knowledge of the futures, prop trading, or crypto space, including its audiences, communities, and culture
• Proven experience building and leading community management programs, including owning a brand's community strategy and representing a voice publicly
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving content environment, with a deep understanding of short-form video and X content ecosystems
• Strong graphic design skills, with experience turning a brief into scroll-stopping visuals both independently and in collaboration with other designers, and comfort with video editing software (Adobe Premiere or similar)
• Experience with Sprout Social, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, or Monday.com), plus experience using AI tools in your marketing workflow (Claude and ChatGPT preferred) for ideation, copywriting, research, or asset creation
• Experience adapting long-form content into short-form, social-first formats by finding the hook and cutting to what matters, and a fluency in meme culture and internet humor that you use strategically without forcing it
• Strong writing skills with sharp hooks and concise, engaging captions, a knack for adapting tone across platforms and audiences, and the ability to communicate recommendations clearly in writing and in meetings
• Highly organized, with experience managing vendors, agencies, or contractors alongside multiple content streams and cross-functional workstreams, and a proven ability to align stakeholders (content, product, growth) without formal authority, including at the Manager and Director level

• Comfort on camera for short-form video content (TikTok, Reels), a strong differentiator
• Basic familiarity with paid social, including knowing how organic and paid work together
• Familiarity with Social SEO, including optimizing captions, hashtags, and scripts to improve discoverability on TikTok, YouTube, and beyond

The salary range for this role will be $85,000 - $100,000 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of [BONUS %]%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on

individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%). Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader.

NinjaTrader offers a 401(k) plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year plus seven paid holidays.

This role is based in Chicago, IL. We are not open to remote candidates for this role

For Chicago-based employees, we follow a hybrid work schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. In addition to these weekly remote days, we offer:
