Answers to the most popular questions about the IT‑Career‑Gym platform
IT‑Career‑Gym is a platform for IT professionals and employers: it matches you with a partner for mutual mock interviews, offers quizzes on technologies and languages, a participant rating, and job and resume postings. It runs as two interfaces over shared data — the website and a Telegram bot.
You create a request: pick a direction (IT or a foreign language), a specialization, your own grade and the grade range for your partner. The system looks for a counterpart request that suits both sides and, once a pair is found, shows the contact in your account on the website (My subscriptions). You may also get an email or Telegram notification depending on your settings. You run the interview yourselves — time and format are up to you.
Click "Register" in the top menu, enter your name, email and password, and pick a role — specialist or employer. A confirmation code is sent to that address. You can also sign in with Telegram, in which case no password is needed.
No — Telegram is not required. Registration, partner search for mock interviews, vacancy matching, quizzes and the leaderboard all work on the website. When a pair or vacancy match is found, you see it in the header bell and in your account (My subscriptions, Match history). You can link Telegram in your profile for messenger alerts — it is optional.
The rating is the sum of points from quizzes, pet projects and matches. More practice moves you up. Reviews do not affect it.

The IT Career Gym guide on this site is free. The two architecture courses are on Stepik — price and access live there. On this platform you can open the list, find a mock partner, and take quizzes without buying a “course pack”.
The guide is how to run a paired mock: IT section, languages, a walkthrough checklist. Stepik hosts full courses on System Design and the C4 model. Different formats — we do not glue them into one “learning path”.
You can read the on-site guide and open Stepik without an account. Finding a mock partner or taking a quiz on IT Career Gym needs registration.
Do not leave it as a “read later” tab. Find a partner on the match page or run a quiz. System design sticks when you explain the diagram out loud.

OVERVIEW
Integrity Communications Solutions (Integrity) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer V (SE V) to support a Department of Defense (DoD) satellite communications (SATCOM) ground and system-of-systems development program.
The selected candidate will support complex multidisciplinary systems engineering activities across one or more technical areas, which may include system-of-systems engineering, Ground Segment engineering, requirements development and management, architecture and interface definition, integration and verification, test engineering, digital engineering, cybersecurity engineering, configuration and data management, risk management, or technical planning and documentation.
SE V engineers are expected to operate with a high degree of independence and take ownership of complex technical problem spaces that span multiple teams, disciplines, or Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). They are expected to integrate technical inputs, coordinate resolution of cross-functional issues, anticipate risks and dependencies, and contribute to engineering outcomes that extend beyond an individual team or subsystem.
Engineers may support either System-of-Systems Integration (SoSI) or Ground Integration (GI) activities depending on individual experience, strengths, interests, and program needs. Work may span system-level, segment-level, element-level, or component-level engineering and will frequently require coordination across multiple technical organizations and engineering disciplines.
Candidates are not expected to have experience in every technical area listed. Integrity is seeking senior engineers with demonstrated depth in one or more systems engineering disciplines who can integrate technical work across teams, influence engineering outcomes, and contribute to delivery of mission-critical capabilities supporting the warfighter.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of relevant systems engineering, integration, verification, test, software, digital engineering, cybersecurity, operations, or related technical experience
- Significant experience in systems engineering, integration, verification, test, software, digital engineering, cybersecurity, operations, or a related technical discipline
- Demonstrated experience owning and resolving complex technical problem spaces
- Experience integrating engineering activities across multiple teams, disciplines, or technical organizations
- Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes, including requirements development, architecture, integration, verification, validation, configuration management, and technical risk management
- Experience developing, reviewing, integrating, or overseeing technical requirements, architectures, verification products, interface documentation, models, test artifacts, or other systems engineering products
- Demonstrated ability to identify technical risks, dependencies, and integration issues and drive coordinated resolution
- Experience providing technical direction, coordination, or mentoring to other engineers without relying on formal supervisory authority
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues, risks, recommendations, and tradeoffs to technical, program, and customer stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain required program access

- Familiarity with cybersecurity engineering or secure-system development

- Anticipate technical risks, integration challenges, and dependencies and drive mitigation before they impact program execution
- Coordinate across engineering teams and technical organizations to resolve cross-functional issues and maintain alignment
- Contribute to development and improvement of repeatable engineering processes, methods, and standards used across teams
- Support configuration management, data management, and technical baseline activities
- Provide senior technical input to engineering reviews, review boards, verification packages, and technical baseline decisions
- Support Program Increment (PI) Planning, dependency management, backlog development, and alignment of technical priorities
- Lead or facilitate technical working groups, coordination activities, and engineering discussions as appropriate
- Mentor less-experienced engineers and support development of technical capability within the team
- Provide technical recommendations, risk assessments, and status to program leadership and customer stakeholders
- Support resolution of program-level integration, requirements, verification, or execution issues within assigned technical scope

- Salary Range: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

IT‑Career‑Gym looks for jobs against your request: role, stack, grade, work format and city. You can still browse the job catalogue — the request keeps working when an employer posts something new.
Applications send your base resume. The platform does not call HR for you: match, notification, vacancy card — you decide whether to apply.

Active requests live under My searches: pause them without dropping history. Matched jobs collect in a separate list — handy after a few notifications.
Email, Telegram, or both — pick a channel in your profile. While a search is running you may get a short reminder that the request is still on.

How to manage vacancy search requests
My searches holds your requests: role, stack, grade, format and city. Pause a request and the matched jobs stay in history.
A new filter set is built under vacancy matches. Each card shows whether search is running and how many jobs already fit.
When a request finds a job
Matched jobs open from the request card and also collect in match history. Applications send your base resume — the platform does not call HR for you.

Как работает подбор партнёра
IT‑Career‑Gym helps you find a partner for a practice interview: pick a track (IT or languages), specialization, your grade, and the grade range you want. The system searches website and Telegram requests and notifies you in the account bell when a pair is ready.
Собеседование вы проводите сами — в удобное время и в выбранном формате. Платформа нужна для мэтча, напоминаний и истории, а не для замены живого разговора.
Подписки и история
Активные заявки живут в разделе «Мои подписки»: их можно отключить, пока партнёр не найден. Грейд на карточке не меняется — новую заявку собирают в поиске. Прошедшие моки и отзывы о партнёрах собраны в «Истории».
Такой цикл — поиск, мэтч, практика, фиксация результата — помогает готовиться к реальному интервью без лишней бюрократии и с понятным следующим шагом.

Как управлять подписками на поиск партнёра
В «Моих подписках» хранятся заявки на поиск пары для мок-собеседования: специализация, свой грейд и диапазон грейда партнёра. Подписку можно поставить на паузу или удалить — грейд на карточке не редактируется.
Новую заявку с другими грейдами собирают в разделе поиска партнёра. Каждая карточка показывает, идёт ли поиск, и можно ли повторять уже найденных людей.
Когда подписка находит партнёра
Найденные люди открываются из карточки заявки. Прошедшие моки и отзывы живут в истории собеседований. Собеседование вы проводите сами — платформа нужна для мэтча и напоминаний.
Куда писать о мэтче — почта, Telegram или оба канала — настраивается в профиле. Пока подписка активна, можно получить короткое напоминание, что заявка ещё ищет пару.

Форматы квизов на IT‑Career‑Gym
На платформе можно проверить знания по Backend, Frontend, DevOps и другим специализациям. Экспресс — 5 вопросов, глубокий — 20, тематический — 15. Число вопросов вручную — только в расширенном режиме.
Экспресс подходит для разминки перед собеседованием, глубокий — для системной оценки, тематический — чтобы закрыть конкретный пробел. Сложность подстраивается по ходу: после верного ответа следующий вопрос сложнее. Часть вопросов — свободный текст. Результаты попадают в историю попыток и влияют на рейтинг.
Откройте экспресс, глубокий, тематический квиз или историю попыток. Расширенный режим на этой странице позволяет выбрать блок и число вопросов вручную (до 50). Рейтинг снижается, если копировать вопрос или уходить со страницы.

Как заработать XP и удержать стрик?
Закройте карточки дня — за каждое задание начисляется бонус XP. Стрик растёт, если вы активны каждый день. Пропуск дня сбрасывает серию. Энергия списывается только за старт обычного квиза.
Нужно ли платить за челленджи?
Нет: задания бесплатны для специалистов. Super даёт безлимит энергии на квизы, но не прячет челленджи. У работодателей челленджей нет.
