What you will be doing

Shape the product

• Build and maintain a clear view of Salesforce product priorities, balancing strategic goals, operational needs, technical health and available delivery capacity.
• Work with stakeholders to understand the underlying problem before defining a solution.
• Assess the value, urgency, effort, dependencies and risks of proposed changes and make evidence-based prioritisation recommendations.
• Define product outcomes and success measures so that delivery remains focused on business and user value.

Scope and define change

• Lead discovery workshops and structured stakeholder discussions.
• Map current and future processes and identify impacts across teams, data, integrations, controls and customer journeys.
• Turn requirements into well-structured epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery-ready documentation.
• Work with technical colleagues to explore solution options, understand trade-offs and agree an approach that is scalable, supportable and proportionate.
• Challenge unclear or low-value requests constructively and prevent avoidable scope creep.

Drive delivery

• Coordinate delivery activity across Salesforce administrators, developers, project colleagues, subject matter experts and business owners.
• Keep scope, priorities, dependencies, decisions, risks and actions visible throughout delivery.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint or delivery planning, demonstrations and release preparation.
• Ensure testing is planned, acceptance criteria are met and business owners are ready to adopt the change.
• Communicate progress clearly, escalating decisions or blockers when required.

Improve adoption and outcomes

• Partner with stakeholders on change impact, communications, training and adoption planning.
• Gather feedback after release and assess whether the change has achieved its intended outcome.
• Use operational insight, user feedback and product data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain clear product, process and decision documentation so that changes remain understandable and supportable.

What we are looking for

Essential experience

• Experience working as a Product Owner, Salesforce Business Analyst, CRM Product Manager or in a comparable product delivery role.
• Practical experience of defining and delivering changes within Salesforce or a similarly complex CRM platform.
• Strong discovery, requirements gathering, process mapping and detailed scoping skills.
• Experience writing user stories, functional requirements and clear acceptance criteria.
• A track record of driving projects or product improvements through the full delivery lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions, manage competing priorities and challenge constructively.
• An understanding of agile delivery, backlog management, testing, release planning and change adoption.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to make complex topics understandable.

Desirable experience

• Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst or Platform App Builder certification.
• Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
• Awareness of Salesforce data models, automation, integrations, security and reporting.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary CRM or technology team.
• Experience defining measures of success and using insight to evaluate product outcomes.
