All questions

IT‑Career‑Gym is a platform for IT professionals and employers: it matches you with a partner for mutual mock interviews, offers quizzes on technologies and languages, a participant rating, and job and resume postings. It runs as two interfaces over shared data — the website and a Telegram bot.

You create a request: pick a direction (IT or a foreign language), a specialization, your own grade and the grade range for your partner. The system looks for a counterpart request that suits both sides and, once a pair is found, shows the contact in your account on the website (My subscriptions). You may also get an email or Telegram notification depending on your settings. You run the interview yourselves — time and format are up to you.

Click "Register" in the top menu, enter your name, email and password, and pick a role — specialist or employer. A confirmation code is sent to that address. You can also sign in with Telegram, in which case no password is needed.

No — Telegram is not required. Registration, partner search for mock interviews, vacancy matching, quizzes and the leaderboard all work on the website. When a pair or vacancy match is found, you see it in the header bell and in your account (My subscriptions, Match history). You can link Telegram in your profile for messenger alerts — it is optional.

The rating is the sum of points from quizzes, pet projects and matches. More practice moves you up. Reviews do not affect it.

The IT Career Gym guide on this site is free. The two architecture courses are on Stepik — price and access live there. On this platform you can open the list, find a mock partner, and take quizzes without buying a “course pack”.

The guide is how to run a paired mock: IT section, languages, a walkthrough checklist. Stepik hosts full courses on System Design and the C4 model. Different formats — we do not glue them into one “learning path”.

You can read the on-site guide and open Stepik without an account. Finding a mock partner or taking a quiz on IT Career Gym needs registration.

Do not leave it as a “read later” tab. Find a partner on the match page or run a quiz. System design sticks when you explain the diagram out loud.

Not yet — we do not draw empty cards for those roles. Security, FDE, and hiring are covered in the blog. If another real course appears, it will land in this list.

    Improving the models that drive our trucks depends on a data flywheel: among petabytes of fleet recordings, we curate the moments that matter, label them, train and evaluate onboard models, deploy, and collect again. Labeling is where this loop usually stalls, because human labeling does not scale with the fleet. Auto-labeling closes that gap: offline models and compute, free of the vehicle's real-time limits, draft the labels, and people verify and correct only where it matters. This role focuses on 3D obstacle auto-labeling: producing accurate 3D object labels from curated multi-sensor recordings, at a quality that lets reviewers verify rather than draw and at a cost that scales. The underlying problems are general: fusing cameras and lidar into consistent 3D estimates, keeping objects consistent through time and occlusion, and knowing when a machine label is good enough. The role starts with 3D obstacles and can expand into other parts of the data flywheel over time.

    We are open to candidates at either the Research Engineer or Senior Research Engineer level. Level will be determined by experience, technical depth, scope of responsibility and demonstrated impact. You do not need experience with every technology in our stack; we value strong fundamentals, a sense of responsibility and the ability to learn.

    • Develop and evaluate methods that turn multi-sensor recordings into accurate 3D object labels offline, using models and compute the vehicle cannot afford in real time, and measure them against reviewed ground truth
    • Raise label quality and reduce the human review it needs: find where machine labels fail and fix the causes in models, sensor fusion or data; bring state-of-the-art perception and foundation models into offline use and adapt them to our vehicles and sensors
    • Build and operate the labeling pipelines at fleet scale: batch GPU inference, data extraction and alignment, selection of what goes to human review, annotation-tool integration, monitoring, throughput and cost, and regression tests that catch quality drops before data reaches training
    • Close the loop with the modeling teams: deliver training-ready labels, feed model failures and long-tail scenarios back into what gets curated and labeled next; at the senior level, lead designs and mentor
    • Ensure that your work is performed in accordance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

    • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
    • Hands-on experience developing and evaluating 3D perception methods (detection, tracking, sensor fusion or related) with a framework such as PyTorch, including experimentation, error analysis, principled metrics, built on solid fundamentals in 3D geometry, coordinate frames, and camera and lidar calibration
    • Strong Python (NumPy, Pandas, SQL) and working C++ where performance matters; experience running large offline workloads with GPU batch inference
    • Foundations for data-centric machine learning: how training-data composition shapes model behavior, how to evaluate against ground truth, and how to measure and reduce annotation cost
    • Self-driven with a strong sense of responsibility: a quick learner who takes problems from ambiguous to shipped; for the senior level, a system you were responsible for end to end, design documents others built on, and mentoring

    IT‑Career‑Gym helps you find a partner for a practice interview: pick a track (IT or languages), specialization, your grade, and the grade range you want. The system searches website and Telegram requests and notifies you in the account bell when a pair is ready.

    Собеседование вы проводите сами — в удобное время и в выбранном формате. Платформа нужна для мэтча, напоминаний и истории, а не для замены живого разговора.

    Подписки и история

    Активные заявки живут в разделе «Мои подписки»: их можно отключить, пока партнёр не найден. Грейд на карточке не меняется — новую заявку собирают в поиске. Прошедшие моки и отзывы о партнёрах собраны в «Истории».

    Как управлять подписками на поиск партнёра

    Найденные люди открываются из карточки заявки. Прошедшие моки и отзывы живут в истории собеседований. Собеседование вы проводите сами — платформа нужна для мэтча и напоминаний.

    Куда писать о мэтче — почта, Telegram или оба канала — настраивается в профиле. Пока подписка активна, можно получить короткое напоминание, что заявка ещё ищет пару.

    На поиске партнёра есть тизер с переходом в режим Match Helper. В квизах кнопка «Спросить ИИ» открывает чат с темой. Разбор файла — со страницы резюме. Практику закрепите в ПЭТ‑проектах.

    Доступ к чату — на тарифах кандидата от 499 ₽/мес (10 / 30 запросов в день или безлимит на год). Описание режимов на этой странице открыто всем, в том числе без регистрации.
