All questions

IT‑Career‑Gym is a platform for IT professionals and employers: it matches you with a partner for mutual mock interviews, offers quizzes on technologies and languages, a participant rating, and job and resume postings. It runs as two interfaces over shared data — the website and a Telegram bot.

You create a request: pick a direction (IT or a foreign language), a specialization, your own grade and the grade range for your partner. The system looks for a counterpart request that suits both sides and, once a pair is found, shows the contact in your account on the website (My subscriptions). You may also get an email or Telegram notification depending on your settings. You run the interview yourselves — time and format are up to you.

Click "Register" in the top menu, enter your name, email and password, and pick a role — specialist or employer. A confirmation code is sent to that address. You can also sign in with Telegram, in which case no password is needed.

No — Telegram is not required. Registration, partner search for mock interviews, vacancy matching, quizzes and the leaderboard all work on the website. When a pair or vacancy match is found, you see it in the header bell and in your account (My subscriptions, Match history). You can link Telegram in your profile for messenger alerts — it is optional.

The rating is the sum of points from quizzes, pet projects and matches. More practice moves you up. Reviews do not affect it.

The IT Career Gym guide on this site is free. The two architecture courses are on Stepik — price and access live there. On this platform you can open the list, find a mock partner, and take quizzes without buying a “course pack”.

The guide is how to run a paired mock: IT section, languages, a walkthrough checklist. Stepik hosts full courses on System Design and the C4 model. Different formats — we do not glue them into one “learning path”.

You can read the on-site guide and open Stepik without an account. Finding a mock partner or taking a quiz on IT Career Gym needs registration.

Do not leave it as a “read later” tab. Find a partner on the match page or run a quiz. System design sticks when you explain the diagram out loud.

Not yet — we do not draw empty cards for those roles. Security, FDE, and hiring are covered in the blog. If another real course appears, it will land in this list.

    Job Summary

    The ServiceNow Developer II is responsible for the design, development, configuration, implementation, and support of scalable, maintainable ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements and organizational standards. The role works independently and collaboratively across business and technical teams, on small projects as well as delivering components of larger initiatives while applying and expanding expertise in one or more areas of the ServiceNow platform. The ServiceNow Developer II collaborates with senior technical resources and project stakeholders to deliver quality solutions and contribute to effective technical outcomes. The ServiceNow Developer II also contributes to the ongoing stability, security, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform.

    • Balances multiple concurrent technical assignments and deadlines, prioritizes work effectively, communicates complex technical information clearly across audiences, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and technical teams.
    • Translate business requirements into ServiceNow solutions by designing, configuring, developing, testing, and delivering applications and platform enhancements that meet business needs and align with corporate development standards and platform best practices.
    • Evaluates and implements ServiceNow solutions that improve processes, automation, efficiency, and maintainability while emphasizing configuration over customization and adoption of new platform capabilities.

    • Supports ServiceNow production applications by monitoring the environment, troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and participating in rotational after-hours support to maintain platform stability and a positive end-user experience.
    • Supports security, privacy, and compliance activities by partnering with governance and security teams to investigate vulnerabilities, remediate findings, and ensure ServiceNow solutions align with established controls and compliance practices.
    • Participates in design and code reviews for internally and externally developed solutions to validate alignment with technical standards, identify improvement opportunities, and provide technical guidance to team members as needed.
    • Creates and maintains technical, support, and knowledge-sharing materials for ServiceNow solutions to support knowledge transfer, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform support.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration, including hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM and SPM capabilities. Demonstrated experience supporting and enhancing ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules is required.
    • ServiceNow platform administration and configuration, including managing applications, users, roles, groups, access controls, and platform settings.
    • ServiceNow application development using JavaScript, client-side and server-side scripting, and Glide APIs Core ServiceNow development components, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes and other core platform development components
    • Service Catalog and Service Portal development
    • ServiceNow reporting and dashboard development, including creating, configuring, and maintaining reports and dashboards to support business and operational needs.
    • Flow Designer and process automation
    • ServiceNow development and platform architecture best practices, including configuration over customization
    • Experience with ServiceNow service management, integrations, and platform security, including:
    • ITSM and ITIL principles, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog concepts

    • Experience with advanced ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and related capabilities, such as resource management, strategic planning, and collaborative work management
    Working Conditions

    This position may include on-call responsibilities and occasional work during nights, weekends, or holidays. Work is typically performed in a standard office or remote environment, with some travel to restaurant locations or industry events as needed, in accordance with company travel policies.

    IT‑Career‑Gym helps you find a partner for a practice interview: pick a track (IT or languages), specialization, your grade, and the grade range you want. The system searches website and Telegram requests and notifies you in the account bell when a pair is ready.

    Собеседование вы проводите сами — в удобное время и в выбранном формате. Платформа нужна для мэтча, напоминаний и истории, а не для замены живого разговора.

    Подписки и история

    Активные заявки живут в разделе «Мои подписки»: их можно отключить, пока партнёр не найден. Грейд на карточке не меняется — новую заявку собирают в поиске. Прошедшие моки и отзывы о партнёрах собраны в «Истории».

    Как управлять подписками на поиск партнёра

    В «Моих подписках» хранятся заявки на поиск пары для мок-собеседования: специализация, свой грейд и диапазон грейда партнёра. Подписку можно поставить на паузу или удалить — грейд на карточке не редактируется.

    Новую заявку с другими грейдами собирают в разделе поиска партнёра. Каждая карточка показывает, идёт ли поиск, и можно ли повторять уже найденных людей.

    Когда подписка находит партнёра

    Найденные люди открываются из карточки заявки. Прошедшие моки и отзывы живут в истории собеседований. Собеседование вы проводите сами — платформа нужна для мэтча и напоминаний.

    Куда писать о мэтче — почта, Telegram или оба канала — настраивается в профиле. Пока подписка активна, можно получить короткое напоминание, что заявка ещё ищет пару.

    Экспресс подходит для разминки перед собеседованием, глубокий — для системной оценки, тематический — чтобы закрыть конкретный пробел. Сложность подстраивается по ходу: после верного ответа следующий вопрос сложнее. Часть вопросов — свободный текст. Результаты попадают в историю попыток и влияют на рейтинг.

    Нужно ли платить за челленджи?

    На поиске партнёра есть тизер с переходом в режим Match Helper. В квизах кнопка «Спросить ИИ» открывает чат с темой. Разбор файла — со страницы резюме. Практику закрепите в ПЭТ‑проектах.
