What is the opportunity?

We are looking for an experienced Software Delivery Manager to join our team within the HiTrust business of SS&C, responsible for our investment management and fund administration front ends, used primarily by investors and financial advisers.

This is a key role in enabling the successful execution of our strategy to become an industry-leading Fund Administration service in Thailand.

As Software Delivery Manager, you are accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the HiTrust product to our installed-software customers, SaaS clients and internal BPO operations. You will own delivery commitments – scope, timelines and quality – across your team, holding the client-facing and business conversations that go with them, including the difficult ones when priorities compete, or something is at risk. This is a non-technical role: you lead delivery through strong management and coordination rather than hands-on engineering, and you lead your delivery team without direct line-management responsibility, working through trust, clear communication and a collaborative approach.

Agile delivery is at the heart of the role. You will facilitate the team's Scrum process end to end and own the Jira delivery workflow, while also carrying the wider delivery-management responsibilities that come with a regulated financial services environment – delivery and capacity planning, release governance, effort reporting, risk management, and regular progress reporting to project managers and senior stakeholders.

AI is central to how we work. You will bring AI tooling into your day-to-day delivery management – using it to plan, forecast, report and reduce waste – and you will encourage and support the adoption of AI across the team to help improve productivity, quality and delivery pace.

Who you'll work with

You will work closely with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, Solution Architects and Product Managers within your team, and with Project Managers, BPO operations, senior business stakeholders and clients across the wider organisation . You will collaborate with your peers and your manager to continuously improve delivery practices, and – as SS&C is a global company – you will regularly work with colleagues across different time zones.

Key accountabilities

• Own end-to-end delivery – take accountability for delivering the HiTrust product to installed-software customers, SaaS clients and internal BPO, meeting committed scope, timelines and quality.
• Manage client and stakeholder delivery – lead delivery-related conversations with clients and business stakeholders, including the difficult ones when priorities compete, or delivery is at risk.
• Report on delivery progress – provide clear, regular reporting on delivery status, risks and forecasts to Project Managers and senior stakeholders.
• Own the Scrum process and Jira workflow – facilitate the team's Scrum practice end to end and manage the Jira delivery process to keep work visible, accurate and on track.
• Plan capacity and delivery – plan and manage team capacity and delivery across sprints and releases to meet commitments across multiple client types.
• Ensure accurate effort reporting – oversee timesheet discipline and the correct classification of effort to client-funded or capex projects.
• Support release governance – participate in release governance (including as a CAB member) and uphold audit, regulatory and compliance requirements in delivery.
• Manage delivery risk – identify delivery risks early and work with the team to shape and carry out mitigation plans.
• Promote AI-powered delivery – bring AI tooling into your delivery practice and encourage its adoption across the team to help improve productivity, quality and pace.
• Drive continuous improvement – use delivery metrics and retrospectives to guide steady improvements in team throughput, predictability and quality.

Role responsibilities

Delivery ownership & planning

• Own the end-to-end delivery of the HiTrust product across installed-software customers, SaaS clients and internal BPO.
• Plan and manage delivery across sprints and releases, coordinating scope, dependencies and timelines with Product, Engineering and clients.
• Plan and manage team capacity to meet delivery commitments across competing priorities and client types.
• Track progress against commitments and proactively manage risks, blockers and dependencies to keep delivery on course.

Scrum facilitation & delivery process

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Own and manage the Jira delivery process, keeping the backlog, boards and reporting accurate and up to date.
• Coach the team in agile principles and delivery practices, raising maturity and self- organisation over time.
• Foster a collaborative, high- trust and high-performing team environment.

Governance, reporting & compliance

• Provide regular delivery progress reporting and forecasts to Project Managers and senior stakeholders.
• Oversee timesheet discipline and ensure effort is reported and classified correctly to client-funded or capex projects.
• Participate in release governance, including as a member of the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
• Uphold audit, regulatory and compliance requirements throughout the delivery process.

Client & stakeholder management

• Act as the primary point of contact for delivery status, providing clear, business-level communication to clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Manage expectations on scope, timelines and trade-offs, and lead the difficult conversations when delivery is at risk.
• Produce and maintain delivery reporting, dashboards and forecasts that give stakeholders confidence.

AI-powered ways of working & improvement

• Encourage the adoption of AI tools across the team, helping the team embed AI into their day-to-day delivery workflows.
• Use AI to accelerate delivery management tasks such as planning, estimation, status reporting, risk analysis and stakeholder communications.
• Use metrics ( e.g. velocity, throughput, cycle time, predictability) to identify and drive improvements.
• Maintain and optimise the team's use of Jira and SharePoint to ensure accurate tracking, reporting and documentation.

Skills and competencies

• Delivery accountability – proven track record of owning and delivering software to committed scope, timelines and quality, ideally across a mix of installed-software and SaaS clients.
• Agile delivery expertise – strong background delivering software in agile environments, with deep, practical knowledge of Scrum and familiarity with Kanban.
• Jira proficiency – strong hands-on proficiency with Jira for managing the delivery process, backlog, sprint tracking and delivery reporting.
• Client & stakeholder management – proven ability to manage clients and diverse stakeholders, hold difficult delivery conversations, and report to Project Managers and senior leaders.
• Delivery & capacity planning – ability to plan and manage team capacity and delivery across competing priorities and client types.
• Governance & compliance – understanding of release governance ( e.g. CAB), audit trails and regulatory/compliance requirements in a financial services context.
• Effort & cost reporting – experience with timesheet discipline and classifying effort correctly to client-funded or capex projects.
• Team coaching – proven ability to coach and uplift teams in agile ways of working and lift delivery maturity, leading through influence without direct line-management responsibility.
• AI-first mindset – enthusiasm for and experience using AI tools to improve delivery, with a willingness to encourage and embed AI ways of working across the team.
• Communication skills – excellent written and verbal communication, able to confidently liaise with technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of an organisation .
• Business acumen – a deep understanding of how the business operates and the ability to use that knowledge to make informed delivery decisions and trade-offs.
• Risk & dependency management – ability to identify , communicate and mitigate delivery risks and manage cross-team dependencies.
• Adaptability – flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Financial services context – experience delivering in financial services or similarly complex, regulated environments is an advantage; knowledge of mutual funds is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in agile software delivery, including demonstrated accountability for end-to-end delivery as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager or equivalent.
• Agile / Scrum certification ( e.g. CSM, PSM, SAFe ) is an advantage.
