Answers to the most popular questions about the IT‑Career‑Gym platform
IT‑Career‑Gym is a platform for IT professionals and employers: it matches you with a partner for mutual mock interviews, offers quizzes on technologies and languages, a participant rating, and job and resume postings. It runs as two interfaces over shared data — the website and a Telegram bot.
You create a request: pick a direction (IT or a foreign language), a specialization, your own grade and the grade range for your partner. The system looks for a counterpart request that suits both sides and, once a pair is found, shows the contact in your account on the website (My subscriptions). You may also get an email or Telegram notification depending on your settings. You run the interview yourselves — time and format are up to you.
Click "Register" in the top menu, enter your name, email and password, and pick a role — specialist or employer. A confirmation code is sent to that address. You can also sign in with Telegram, in which case no password is needed.
No — Telegram is not required. Registration, partner search for mock interviews, vacancy matching, quizzes and the leaderboard all work on the website. When a pair or vacancy match is found, you see it in the header bell and in your account (My subscriptions, Match history). You can link Telegram in your profile for messenger alerts — it is optional.
The rating is the sum of points from quizzes, pet projects and matches. More practice moves you up. Reviews do not affect it.

The guide is how to run a paired mock: IT section, languages, a walkthrough checklist. Stepik hosts full courses on System Design and the C4 model. Different formats — we do not glue them into one “learning path”.
You can read the on-site guide and open Stepik without an account. Finding a mock partner or taking a quiz on IT Career Gym needs registration.
Do not leave it as a “read later” tab. Find a partner on the match page or run a quiz. System design sticks when you explain the diagram out loud.

The Principal Salesforce Consultant is a senior, tech-forward leadership role within the Delivery team. This position bridges the gap between functional business consulting and technical architecture, serving as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients. You will lead solution design, advise on technical feasibility, and guide implementation strategies without being responsible for hands-on coding.
This role requires a seasoned expert who can "own the room" with technical stakeholders while translating complex business needs into scalable, high-impact Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities 8
- Lead solution design and technical discovery sessions for enterprise-level projects, acting as the primary Architect-leaning lead.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on what is technically feasible versus what is not recommended based on platform best practices.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear technical blueprints, ensuring solutions are scalable and align with long-term digital transformation goals.
- Lead workshops and provide thought leadership across Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds, ensuring architecture aligns with compliance and security requirements.
- Partner closely with developers and engineering teams to guide integrations and customizations (without performing the coding yourself).
- Support pre-sales efforts by providing strategic input and accurate level-of-effort estimates for complex technical customizations.
- Drive client-facing technical conversations and lead difficult discussions with executive stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Coach and mentor team members across functional and technical areas; contribute to internal enablement assets and industry process blueprints.
Required Expertise 7
- 10–15 years of Salesforce consulting experience, with a background in Principal Consultant, Solution Architect, or Technical Lead roles.
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, including APIs, data flows, and middleware (iPaaS) platforms.
- Proven experience with Salesforce FSC (Financial Services Cloud), specifically within wealth and asset management.
- Advanced skills in declarative automation, reporting, and complex system configurations.
- Expertise in planning complex data migrations and designing point-to-point integrations.
- While industry-agnostic candidates are welcome, experience in CMT (Communications, Media & Tech) or TMT is a significant plus.

Как работает подбор партнёра
IT‑Career‑Gym helps you find a partner for a practice interview: pick a track (IT or languages), specialization, your grade, and the grade range you want. The system searches website and Telegram requests and notifies you in the account bell when a pair is ready.
Собеседование вы проводите сами — в удобное время и в выбранном формате. Платформа нужна для мэтча, напоминаний и истории, а не для замены живого разговора.
Подписки и история
Активные заявки живут в разделе «Мои подписки»: их можно отключить, пока партнёр не найден. Грейд на карточке не меняется — новую заявку собирают в поиске. Прошедшие моки и отзывы о партнёрах собраны в «Истории».
Такой цикл — поиск, мэтч, практика, фиксация результата — помогает готовиться к реальному интервью без лишней бюрократии и с понятным следующим шагом.

Как управлять подписками на поиск партнёра
В «Моих подписках» хранятся заявки на поиск пары для мок-собеседования: специализация, свой грейд и диапазон грейда партнёра. Подписку можно поставить на паузу или удалить — грейд на карточке не редактируется.
Новую заявку с другими грейдами собирают в разделе поиска партнёра. Каждая карточка показывает, идёт ли поиск, и можно ли повторять уже найденных людей.
Когда подписка находит партнёра
Найденные люди открываются из карточки заявки. Прошедшие моки и отзывы живут в истории собеседований. Собеседование вы проводите сами — платформа нужна для мэтча и напоминаний.
Куда писать о мэтче — почта, Telegram или оба канала — настраивается в профиле. Пока подписка активна, можно получить короткое напоминание, что заявка ещё ищет пару.

Форматы квизов на IT‑Career‑Gym
На платформе можно проверить знания по Backend, Frontend, DevOps и другим специализациям. Экспресс — 5 вопросов, глубокий — 20, тематический — 15. Число вопросов вручную — только в расширенном режиме.
Экспресс подходит для разминки перед собеседованием, глубокий — для системной оценки, тематический — чтобы закрыть конкретный пробел. Сложность подстраивается по ходу: после верного ответа следующий вопрос сложнее. Часть вопросов — свободный текст. Результаты попадают в историю попыток и влияют на рейтинг.
Откройте экспресс, глубокий, тематический квиз или историю попыток. Расширенный режим на этой странице позволяет выбрать блок и число вопросов вручную (до 50). Рейтинг снижается, если копировать вопрос или уходить со страницы.

На IT‑Career‑Gym челленджи связаны с квизами, пет-проектами, мэтчами специалистов, мэтчами вакансий, резюме и рейтингом. Набор карточек меняется каждый день.

Что такое ежедневные челленджи в IT‑Career‑Gym?
Это три задания на сегодня: пройти квиз нужного формата, найти мэтч, откликнуться на вакансию, обновить резюме или пет-проект, подняться в рейтинге или отправить рефералку. Карточки меняются каждый день, прогресс идёт с реальных действий, а не с чеклиста.
Как заработать XP и удержать стрик?
Закройте карточки дня — за каждое задание начисляется бонус XP. Стрик растёт, если вы активны каждый день. Пропуск дня сбрасывает серию. Энергия списывается только за старт обычного квиза.
Нужно ли платить за челленджи?
Нет: задания бесплатны для специалистов. Super даёт безлимит энергии на квизы, но не прячет челленджи. У работодателей челленджей нет.

На поиске партнёра есть тизер с переходом в режим Match Helper. В квизах кнопка «Спросить ИИ» открывает чат с темой. Разбор файла — со страницы резюме. Практику закрепите в ПЭТ‑проектах.
