<p>We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team. This is a critical role that bridges the gap between Sales, Product, and Engineering, ensuring our customers successfully integrate and adopt NMI's solutions.</p>

<p>As the technical counterpart to our sales team, you will qualify customer needs, scope tailored solutions, and guide onboarding to deliver exceptional partner and merchant experiences. This is a remote role based in the UK.</p>

<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3>

<p><strong>Customer Qualification &amp; Solution Scoping</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Collaborate with Account Executives and Channel Account Managers to assess and qualify customer requirements.</li>

<li>Recommend tailored solutions, identify opportunities for product extensions, and evaluate the feasibility of customer-specific requests that require development work.</li>

<li>Identify challenges early and propose viable technical solutions.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Solution Documentation &amp; Onboarding Support</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Document customer use cases, solution designs, and onboarding plans so that teams share a clear picture of what has been agreed.</li>

<li>Ensure alignment across Sales, Partner Launch Managers, and Account Managers for a seamless handover.</li>

<li>Identify and plan customer training needs.</li>

<li>Respond to technical questions on NMI's platform, and deliver architectural diagrams, system workflows, and configuration recommendations.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Demonstrations &amp; Training</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Provide tailored demonstrations of the NMI platform for ISVs, ISOs, and other partner types.</li>

<li>Develop and deliver bespoke training content aligned with customer needs.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Cross-functional Collaboration</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Support Sales in responding to RFPs, coordinating with Product, Engineering, and Security as needed.</li>

<li>Raise and track product enhancement requests on behalf of customers.</li>

<li>Relay common feedback, feature gaps, and usability insights to the Product team.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Sales Enablement &amp; Continuous Improvement</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Stay current on product updates, release notes, and roadmap discussions.</li>

<li>Maintain close contact with acquiring partners and support their technical enablement.</li>

<li>Represent NMI at industry events and network with partners and prospects.</li>

</ul>

<h3>Essential Skills and Experience:</h3>

<ul>

<li>3–5 years' experience in Solutions/Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Account Management, ideally in FinTech or SaaS.</li>

<li>Strong understanding of payment processing, including card-present, card-not-present, tokenization, gateways, and acquiring.</li>

<li>Experience with unattended payment environments such as Parking, Transit, EV Charging, Vending, and similar kiosk/self-service channels, including familiarity with unattended-specific integration, hardware/device, and compliance considerations.</li>

<li>Demonstrated experience producing solution design documents or technical scoping materials.</li>

<li>Proven ability to work cross-functionally across technical and non-technical teams.</li>

<li>Exceptional communication and documentation skills.</li>

<li>Comfortable presenting and demonstrating solutions to varied audiences.</li>
